Setting a Left Tab for Modified-Block Style Letter.

How to Set a Left Tab for a Modified-Block Style Letter

By the end of this semester, we will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and I will be sharing tips and tricks along the way.

These posts are only my perception of "How-To" and I am learning as well so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

Let's begin!!!

Tabs in a Word document help align the text, making switching topics easier, and helps the reader better see the information. It also helps the letter look more professional.

1. Under the VIEW tab check RULER

2. Ensure that the top of the ruler is pressed until you see a 90 degree angle appearing as an "L"

3. Hover you mouse over the ruler right next to the end of the right margin marker & drag the "L" to the 3.25" on the ruler. (You won't see the "L" until you click)

Now when you press TAB it will indent all the way to 3.25"
